Cheap Posters for a Lifetime of Memories

Like for many people, college was a great time, and many of the memories were shared with the cheap posters I managed to keep after all these years.

From bands like Incubus to movies like Garden State, I always had my dorm rooms throughout those four years covered in such posters. For some reason, I could always relate a poster to a specific event or year in my college career. One that came to mind was this poster of Ludacris I bought at one of the campus poster sales my sophomore year. A few months after the purchase, he came to perform at my school, and I managed to get a front row and center spot. Unfortunately, the concert was disappointing. Still, that poster reminded me of all the hype surrounding this concert.

Now that I’m done with college, it’s always fun to look back at those posters stored in my basement to reminisce of the good times with some awesome friends.

Looking Forward to My Brother's Visit This Weekend

My brother and his wife are going to be visiting my husband and me this weekend. I really enjoy when my brother and his wife come to visit. We always have a lot of fun hanging out with them. I do not know exactly what we are going to do yet, but I am searching on the Internet for some things. I would like to see if there are any events going on that we can take them to. Right now I am searching for sheffield gigs. I hope that there is something because my brother and his wife really like to get out and listen to live music and things like that. They also do not mind just hanging out at the house and watching movies and cooking food. My brother and his wife also play a lot of board games and cards and so they are a lot of fun.

Been Missing out on Great Songs

I love country music so it surprised me when I heard a pop song that really touched me. It’s not that I won’t listen to other music, but it usually doesn’t touch me the way this song did. I decided to do a search on It Will Rain Bruno Mars so I could find out more about both the song and the singer. I had heard of him before but I couldn’t tell you one song he sang before this. I started to listen to other songs by pop artists and discovered that either pop music had gotten better or my tastes were changing because I was enjoying everything that I heard. I guess I was just being a music snob before so I have opened myself up to other types of music now. I am so glad I did too because there are so many great songs I have been missing out on.
