I have simplex locks installed throughout our building. We had a logistical nightmare managing keys and who could get into where. Employees were loaning keys to unauthorized personnel to get things when they were busy. We have strict access protocols that were being violated. Last weekend we redid all of the locks inside the building. Everything has a push button lock now. The codes are set up for zone access. Regular employees have access to some rooms, managers have access to other rooms and directors have access to the remaining rooms. The IT department are the only ones allowed in the server room except for the executive VP on site and myself. On Monday morning we had a meeting to give out the access codes to everyone. It is easy to reprogram the locks with new codes and we will do that whenever someone is fired or every three months or so as a matter of routine. The new policy is, if you share your access codes with anyone, it is immediate termination of employment.

I Finally Can Sleep Being Away from My Cat
Monday, November 21st, 2011The cat door is a touch too big to stop medium-sized dogs. My two year old, although, can lock the gate herself and tends to pinch her finger around the lock (minor pinch) when she does it. The height of the farm gates is just correct. I certainly recommend this pet gate to keep your dog out of the cat meals and litter and also to provide the cats a safe space. I purchased this gate simply because we needed to produce a space that our dogs cannot get into our cats’ “stuff”. I is effective however the dog did attempt to get in a couple of times resulting in the top leaning out of the door jam. My only complaint is always that there is not a ton of changes about this. It works perfect after I am trying to keep them within the laundry room. We’ll also need to be creative in devising some form of alteration that prevents curious critters from squeezing through the slats.
