Restoring our books and manuscripts

Ets Haim needs to restore 556 books and about one hundred rare manuscripts. Some books can be saved with a only small amount of work, but other volumes need extensive work done. The cost of restoring a volume ranges from € 245 for light damage, though to € 450 for a medium amount of repair work, up to € 700 for a major restoration.

You can support us in a very real way by adopting a volume or manuscript at Ets Haim. The librarian will be pleased to help you choose a volume that matches your interest and budget.

Certificate

If you decide to adopt one or more volumes, you will receive a specially designed certificate commemorating your commitment to the library.

A special gift

You can also support us by ordering a Gift certificate of € 18-,. The certificate can be inscribed with the name of the sender and recipient.
