We need to buy a car so we have to save money for it. It took us five years to accumulate the amount needed for the Toyota Vios car. My husband and I were able to utter a sigh of relief upon realizing that our savings in the bank was already enough to buy my dream car.
There was one problem left – the money for the car insurance. Because of this problem, we started to save money again. We did not have to buy a car unless there is enough money for the car insurance.
It took another six months to be able to save money for the car insurance. How did we save money? We stopped weekend outings or eating at the mall. We did not go to movies. We only spent for important things. The school allowance of our son was decreased by 50 percent every day.
Because of the manner we saved, we had saved enough money for the car insurance by the end of the fourth month.
